WHAT IS PUSH-TO-TALK OVER CELLULAR (POC)?
Push-to-talk Over Cellular is the next step in fulfilling the need for instant communications. POC differs from traditional two-way radios in a few different ways.
Unlike traditional two-way radios, POC radios do not use a radio signal to transmit.
Instead, these radios utilize internet signals (WIFI/Cellular) to transmit. The benefits include a much larger range, communication between multiple sites, as well as eliminating the need for expensive equipment like repeaters and antennas.
